| Dirac fermions in graphene, cuprates, and elsewhere |

| Abstract: | The recent advances in microfabrication of graphitic monolayers have made it possible to test and confirm the earlier theoretical predictions of an anomalous, relativistic-like, kinematics of the electronic states in graphene. We discuss the effects of Coulomb interactions and disorder on the properties of these pseudorelativistic
quasiparticles and make a number of specific predictions for such experimentally relevant probes as photoemission,
tunneling, and magnetization measurements. |
