| Surface Chemistry of Mesoporous Materials |

| Abstract: | Mesoporous material is a kind of porous solid with pore sizes between 2-50 nm. Owning to their high specific surface areas, large pore volumes, uniform and tunable pore sizes and shapes, mesoporous materials can be used in heterogeneous catalysis, sensor, battery, etc. The surface functional groups play very important roles in fabrication of mesoporous materials. In this talk, several examples will be given to reveal the surface chemistry of mesoporous solids when they are used as templates or supports, and discuss the influence of the surface groups on the material structure and properties. |
